Health, Safety and Security at workplace

Health: Health means being physically, mentally and socially well. Good health makes the employee feel happy that helps to do work effectively.
Safety: The workplace of any organization/ company must be safe. It must be free from hazard and risks. Proper safety rules/guidelines must be prepared by the company and also followed by the employees strictly.

Hazard is the dangerous activity or something that can cause harm to the people.

Risk is the chance of bad happening for causing harm to the people.

Security: It ensures the safety from any potential harm of the employees working in the organization. Security involves personal safety, computer system safety, electrical safety, transport safety and other equipment safety. Proper security procedure by the security department will reduce liabilities, insurance and compensation for organization.

Basic safety rules at workplace

  1. We need to make sure that no dangerous things around to harm people. Those are called hazards.
  2. We need to think about the chances of bad happening which we call risks.
  3. The organization / company should make clear rules or guidelines for staying safe and everyone should follow them strictly.
